Welcome to Electrify Central Ohio!

Our premise:

Carbon-free electricity + maximum use of that electricity at home = a lower climate footprint for you and your household.

We're convening central Ohio residents to work toward that goal together, sharing contractor referrals, product recommendations, and any other information that may help along the way.

What’s this all about?

As renewable energy becomes cheaper and Ohio’s electric grid gets cleaner every year, electrifying your household’s major energy uses can significantly reduce your climate footprint. And with new federal tax credits and rebates, electric technologies are more affordable than ever, especially if you can go all-electric to avoid high monthly gas charges. But you don’t want to be trying to figure this all out in an emergency when your car dies or your furnace goes out! You can use this chart as a starting point to figure out your roadmap to a clean electric home, and reach out to Electrify Central Ohio for support along the way. (File with clickable links here!)
